As you know, participation in IMPrESS entails no financial costs but it does require time commitment.  For detailed information on IMPrESS, please see below and the attachments:

  • IMPrESS is a facilitated online training that requires about 35-40 hours coursework over 6-7 weeks to strengthen national evaluative decision-making and management skills in conducting utilization-focused, quality evaluations that are context-specific, fit-for-purpose, and address equity and human rights.
  • IMPrESS is primarily for governments, implementing partners, evaluation associations, academia, UNICEF staff and other actors who commission, manage, conduct, and use evaluation results.
  • IMPrESS entails an expected effort of six hours of coursework per week over 6-7 weeks. The Course includes three mandatory two-hour live webinars, autonomous group work, and self-directed learning through videos, recordings, or podcasts. Approximately 75 per cent of the Course is self-directed studying, while the rest is facilitated learning.
